Gardens of Life

I wander...

It happened many times. I make a little faery house in a place with no plants or no special natural elements, or just tiddy up a little bit the place, and a month later, the spot is bursting with life! Clovers and mushrooms and moss grow freely. I think the faeries are thanking us when something like that happens... and perhaps they give us the nature touch...

Transplanting moss is something that doesn't work often, because the spots of moss you plant may have not the hability to grab the new earth. So it dies and you think something went wrong... but two months later you will find a surprise, because all the moss seeds are working and with the rain, the moss grabs stones, twigs... and we find a beautiful Garden of Life that fills me with wander and joy. Thanks to the faeries, I find the most green moss I hav ever seen, and beautiful nature wanders... why, I even see a few mushrooms growing!

We help creating nature... and if we fell an overwealming admiration towards a simple piece of soaked moss we certainly have the connection with the faery realm and the nature touch in our hearts... you born with it or not...

Little mushroom hut

So, Today I finally faced the sun and the blue sky. So far so good. And the twigs were all dried despite last night's rain... even better. But... there are no leaves! What can be donne?

The mushroom season has passed but we can meet some hiding here and there. Well, I had picked a few mushrooms during fall and I dried them just in time to make this little mushroom hut.

With this time of black cold nights and sharp rain I should be making strong shelters for the faeries, but I dare saying this little hut will make them feel lighter and free, remembering of that autumn smell, and the halloween wind. Good times that have passed....

Clown Hat

This morning was windy and fun. The trees are full of color and there are leaves all over the floor and moss is green and fluffy!
This house is so full of color, and it seams to sing "Fun". I placed the moss almost as if it was crawling into the house. A little bit over the door and that fluffy ball as topper makes my light yellow roof look like a clown hat.
Simple and fun. Adorable autumn.
Stay tunned!

Shiny orange

Ok, I know I haven't been posting for a while. I have a good excuse, though. That's it: Rain!
You can see this adorable leaf house leaves look polished. But, even counting on the rain, I have been waiting for this time of the year the hole year! It's when the leaves are yellow, pink and orange. Fall is on full bloom and the colors are amazing.
Now, I alredy tried to make several houses made from leaves. I can say this is my best try. And I made a little trick with the colors. You see, when orange meets green or blue, it gets more orange. This house looks very bright, and I find it adorable, sitting on a patch of moss, with moss over the door.
Oh, about that moss. Lat year that patch of earth had nothing but earth. It's rare to see moss where I live... And I love that tiny hill, because there's a tree stump, and the place is quite magical as it is...
So I went to the deep forest and collected some moss, I spreaded it and tried to plant it, but it didn't work. I left it there, some disapeared because of the wind... And this year, when the first rains came, the patch of earth burst with lovely mossy green! Quite amazing!

Happy Halloween!!

For the ones who celebrate either Halloween or Samhain (even if they're basicly the same idea, Samhain is a bit different from Trick or Treat), have a good holiday.

Cheery

With earth I crated a house on the top of a small tower. Sycamores lead to that precious door. A yellow leaf roof to cheer up. And we can see tiny green spots in the leaves that I balanced in the earth with moss.
